The holder itself is in mint unused condition - the box not so much. I took pictures of both ends so you could see it's never been used. I love this thing. It's 6 inches long. I believe that the gold is 14kt but I have not tested it. Most of the ones I did find - and there aren't many - did state 14kt. Cartier made some awesome ones in 14kt and they go for astronomical money now. I try my best to research items I don't know alot about and do it with Worthpoint an invaluable tool for me. Totally love the bakelite apple green color. The box is marked Maro. Imported from Vienna, AustriaI've tried to research this name with no luck. It's an estate find so there's no history to tell. You'll have to invent one.
