2 very outstanding specimens of Native Copper from Michigan's copper country - Michigan's Keweenaw Peninsula. Bright solid pieces that weigh 74 grams or 2.61 oz. I purchased these 40 years ago at the Tucson Gem show. It never ceases to amaze me how heavy copper specimens are. I've had them carefully stored with all my other minerals. They are beauties.
 
Did you now - The oldest and largest lava flow known on Earth is located on the Keweenaw Peninsula of Michigan ( thanks wiki )
