Very nice old quality cloisonne clip earrings. If you know the difference between older cloisonne and the newer pieces you will appreciate these. There are no ridges just smooth quality gold plate. This set measures 1.5" long. The clips are tight and secure and I will add brand new comfort pads to the clips. Never worn - mint condition from older stored stock.
Do you know the difference between true vintage cloisonné? Older vintage cloisonné is finely crafted smooth to the touch - newer wanna be cloisonné has raised ridges on the enameling. The true art has been long lost. Try to touch them when you buy them. You'll quickly learn the difference. Most of the new stuff you can actually see the ridges in the photos. |
