I'm stuck on wizards and dragons today - this is another excellent Made in the USA piece - beautiful detail with a genuine crystal ball in the claw unlike the newer pieces today that are only lucite. This one was made to last. This piece was from my opening line of Wizard jewelry at the Excalibur that opened in June of 1990. 
 
Carefully stored - never worn - this one you can actually polish not like the cheap sterling imports of today. 28 years old and looks brand new because it was made right from the gitgo. It weighs 6.4 grams. Notice how the import stuff never tells you how much it weighs anymore? It measures right there at 1" long. Notice the cheap import items are always in mm's not inches?  All that is because they don't want you to know how small it actually is.  Know what your buying. Buy American.

It is also stamped STERLING on the side of the bail but the area was so small it only says TERLING.  That's another clue for you - older good sterling is generally stamped STERLING or STER.
 
Anyway it's a great piece and won't disappoint you.
