Antique Perfume Bottle Encased Metal Gold Plate Unusual 1940 DazzleCity

I've had this little treasure for many years. Never seen another one quite like it. Round in shape the glass bottle is encased in a gold plated metal. It has a seam and look like you might be able to remove the casing if you wanted to. There is a number # on the bottom. There's a small metal decal attached to the front with one tiny old european high top rhinestone. It's a small bottle measuring 1 3/4" tall. The cap is worn - some gold loss - plastic - fits snuggly. In my possession since the 70's and was not new when it came to me.
