Great piece of memorabilia - solid sterling silver collector spoon clearly marked SSMC STERLING. Measures 5" long - weighs 14.4 grams. Has a wonderful Native American chief and ears of corn. Was going to turn it into a ring but couldn't pull the trigger.Bowl is inscribed Syracuse, Kansas. Pre 1930. The mark SSMC on a sterling silver spoon refers to the Sterling Silver Manufacturing Company, a firm that operated in Providence, Rhode Island, between approximately 1902 and 1932.
