Much older signed ART piece - this little baby came to me in a repair lot. His little eyes were missing so I replaced them with citrine genuine Swarovski flat back crystals. The jelly belly is original and is an amber color. The rhinestones in his head and tail are all original. He measures 2.25" long and just over 1" wide. My best guess on the age is 1950's - perhaps 40's but I think 50's is better. So he has been restored - do not buy this item because you would like it to be mint original - buy it just because you love owls. Sold as is.
I enjoy restoring old jewelry and breathing new life back into pieces. It's my little hobby. I have often wished there was a "service" type of listing I could offer buyers here for their pieces but I've never actually figured out how to accomplish that. From time to time I do list these types of rescued pieces and you can always find them by searching for the word "Rescue" in my store. Generally I'm just looking for a new home for them.
