Long version: I am a lover of beautiful things - hoarder but not a wearer. I picked this piece up at the Tucson Gem show in the late 80's (probably 88-89). I never worn this one just kept it squirreled away with my other treasure's. That was a long time ago. So now it's time to share. I DO NOT remember what the material is so I used a VERY strong magnet to test for sterling. This item does move but does not stick to the magnet. It would be quadruple plate or it could be vermiel. After 35 years I just do not remember. It is not marked or stamped anywhere. It does have a very fine locking mechanism - like all fine jewelry - you don't see too much costume with this nice of a lock. There's also a fold-over safety clasp. The clasp has a depressing mechanism as all nice jewelry does. I shot alot of pictures and hope I captured just how beautiful this piece is.
The jelly like glass cabs are minty pure looking and all are prong set. The zircon's are also prong set - there are no missing stones. The sides of the findings have a lovely cut out filigree design. It's a little pricey so if you need any more information or pictures don't hesitate to ask.
