Personally I prefer the genuine article BUT this one is so nice I couldn't pass. I always look at the nose and hair on cameos. The detail on this is really nice and it's a big piece measuring 2.5 inches tall point to point. And it's a really nice looking piece and could pass for real. The finding is very nice as well with an antique gold plate and victorian look. As costume cameo pins run this one is a keeper. Of course only one I have.
