I would never profess to be an expert on anything - this is one of those cases for sure. I've had this one long enough. I'm grasping for the correct description of the material. It came out of a vanity set I accquired in Missoula, MT - circa 1940 but I have no clue just exactly how old it is. It measures 4" long. If your looking at this you probably know more than me.
