I purchased this beauty a few years back in a charity shop in Killarney, Ireland. I love damascene and generally buy every piece I come across. I believe this piece was made in Spain - why? Well I found out that alot of the Irish visit Spain on holiday being so close. There is damascene produced in Japan as well. This one is in mint condition. and appears never worn as shown. Measures 8" x 5/16" wide. Working slip latch and safety chain. Very good condition. Please see all photos. I especially love the "Peace" birds.
