It's really a 3 dimensional piece with the solid silver stars floating above the bigger star below.  High polished gold plate - pave set rhinestone crystals of clear on the top - ruby and dark emerald below.  It measures 2" across at the widest point. No dead or missing stones - this is a repro of an early 90's piece I also have in the store. And although it's a reproduction it's actually very nice.
