Heart Pin Bow Signed Raleigh 14k Sterling Silver Brooch 1940's

Nice example of old American craftsmanship - Measures 2 inches tall and 1.75 inches wide. 2 old ruby red high top rhinestones prong set into the bow. It's a sterling based pin that weighs 13.2 grams so it's no shy thing. It has a 1/20th 12kt gold fill overlay. It has more of a rose gold look that a yellow gold plate. Company was Raleigh - all marks clearly stamped on the underside. It has a much older simple C clasp mechanism without a lock.  It was a well loved piece with tarnish here and there. I will leave it as found for the new owner to decide  to polish it.

This pin has been on my desk for awhile now as I tried to identify the maker's history. Love to share that information. There is little to be found. Most folks think this is a 1960's era pin but I feel it is a bit older in nature.
