I believe this strand comes from Austrailia - funny to call rocks vintage isn't it? I purchased an entire load of different type strands back in the late 80's. This is not some fake dyed Chinese howlite rock - these are true leopard beads - sometimes called jaguar - chip form - they range 3mm to 5mm in size and make for lovely accents. The strand measures 36" long. It's strung on fishing nylon so the hole is not big. This strand still has the made in Hong Kong tag.
