Here's the deal - there are no marks anywhere on this piece. I've had it quite awhile - at least 25-30 years. The metal might be sterling - it doesn't stick to a 25# test magnet which is what I use for everything. I think it's Thai. The detail on the buckle looks like old Thai to me.
Bird - petals - feathers - flowers etched by hand not a mold. It measures 3 1/4" across. The buckle attachment is a simple hook and bar. The bar part for the belt measures only 5/8" so it will only accommodte a smaller belt. I thought about converting it to a pendent but decided to leave it as is. Shows very little wear - only piece I have.
