Mechanical - jointed jaw - skull earrings. Vintage set from an old line of jewlery I had at Treasure Island. They had lots of pirates and wenches - skulls - loot and booty and treasures to be found. The jaw on this set drops down when worn. It's small and measures just 3/4". The skull actually will sit upright on a table if your looking for tiny trinkets to fill a box. Mint condition - never worn - vintage stock.
Ok - Treasure Island opened in 1993 - these were part of my line at the hotel. Let's see - that was 27 years ago. So I'm 70 now - point being these earrings are now a mystery metal to me. They do not stick to a very strong magnet. I have absolutely no clue if they are sterling or not so let's call them not.
