Turquoise Cabochon Specimen Rock Stone Slab Rough Semi-Polished BeadRage

This is an interesting piece - lap sanded on one blue side. I started doing something with it many years ago but stopped because some interesting features came out on the other side. Hope you can make it out - there appears to be some other type of material within this piece.  Like matrix in nature - tiny little squares of some other kind of material. The bottom is a gorgeous true turquoise sky blue. Maybe this piece is your next project. In my possession for 35 years - just never finished it off.
