Victorian Ormolu Metal Jewelry Ring Casket Box Repousse Grape

I have a small collection of these little gems - I collected them over the years on picking expeditions. This is one of the largest ones. I have absolutely no clue what the metal is - it is now a dark antique gold color. The lining was gone long before it found it's way to me but made no difference to me. The repousse grape and flowers  have lovely detail. - The hinge works fine. It measures 4.5 inches across the front  and tall overall.  There is one small blemish on the bottom where a long time ago it looks like a sticker was on the box.  I will leave that to the new owner. There is a number on the bottom of 1082. It does have some cracks to the metal - stress perhaps. Considering it's most likely somewhere between 120 - 140 years old it's in very good shape but it is not perfect.. It's a pretty piece with grape detail running all the way around the piece. I've tried to hit all the sides with photos but if you still have a ? just email me. It's a one and only being sold as is.
