Lovely piece - none of the shell is chipped or cracked - shades of blue more than green - lacey cut -out design. This on is a pin or a necklace as there is a loop on the backside for a chain. I so love abalone. There is an Alpaca stamp on the backside - it has a strong clasp and measures 1 5/8" across. Minty condition and my best guess would be 1960's - 70's. Only piece I have.
