I purchased this pendant in the early 90's for a ling I created at the Luxor. The pendant is NOT sterling silver - only the chain. The scarab is genuine Egyptian scarab turquoise color - hesitate to say it's faience in nature but probably. The pendant measures 1.5" top to bottom and just a tad over 1" wide. I purchased a huge supply way back when and still have a few left. The metal is a mystery to me so let's call it pot metal. I added the Italian sterling silver 18" chain.
