It's really a 3 dimensional piece with the solid silver stars floating above the bigger star below.  High polished silver plate - pave set rhinestone crystals of clear on the top - light and dark amethyst below.  It measures 2" across at the widest point. No dead or missing stones - never worn from carefully stored stock.
