Solid brass - excellent detail - little back attachment in place. Measures 1 7/8" across. Not sure what else you need - just ask.
 
I am not a military expert by any means so if I have misrepresented this item please let me know and I will amend this item. I've tried to do my due diligence but could find little information on this one.  I did consult a well know long term military supply here in town and they gave me the information.
