The Spurs - here's the story - I got them off a cowboy I dated 30 years ago. His great uncle had a ranch near Lubbock, Texas. They were his uncle's. He was a working rancher so they have some age and wear to them. I have never tried to clean or polish them. I'm not that ambitious. Actually I wouldn't even know how to clean them.
The leather is in great condition. Not all cracked and beat to hell. There's some hand tooled fancy looking etchings on the outsides of the spurs on each pair and that little concho thing as well.
A magnet doesn't stick to them but I'm not sure what that means. I've done some studying up on Crockett's and their history. They are apparently at least 60 years old.
There's no other markings on these things besides the word Crockett. I guess their a one size fits all kind of deal.
