I had this piece for many many years. After some extensive research and questions asked of experts - we came up with the description. I feel it is rolled rose gold. There are 3 links. The mechanism rolls easily. The crystal is not 100% perfect with a few flea bites. The crystal measures 3/4" across. There are alternating indentations in the crystal. One side has 2 round spots and the other is a larger oval. I have never been able to find another like it - ever.
These Cylinder seals were used for thousands of years. The information available is fascinating.
