Cameo Shell Necklace Sterling Silver Chain Lady Woman Marcasite

Sweet piece - from my own collection - she has a brooch like icon on her shoulder. She has an almost Greek looking face tilted upward. Real shell - have to assume carved in Italy. This piece has a dark sterling frame surrounding  the shell. There are 10 marcasite crystals positioned into the frame.  This framework is fairly pristine - it could use a rub.   All in all this is a great real shell carved cameo on a 20" sterling Figaro chain. Only one I have of course.
