If you collect trinket boxes this is one you shouldn't miss.  It measures 4.5 inches tall and 3.25 across the base.  It is from older stored stock - mint in original box. The enameling is most excellent with a wide array of detailed ornaments.  The hinge opens and closes properly and it's ready for a very special tiny christmas surprise.
 
Thought I'd tell you a little about hinge boxes just in case you didn't know.  There are very highly prized Limoges boxes from France - they have been collected for many years. They are elegant and ornate and pretty expensive. Herco was to my knowledge the first company to produce very nicely made options that were affordable.  They had a very successful run for a few years and it was only a matter of time till someone knocked them off.  Direct connection came next - comparable but I think no one every produced anything nicer than Herco.
 
I so loved this christmas tree that when it came out I bought several because the quality is so nice and I knew it would be a limited run.  At one time I had over 1,000 different boxes in my collection. I did love and enjoy them but it's time for someone else to enjoy them.
