A beautiful work printed on heavy stock rag paper which is based on a circa 1948 painting that Earl Moran created of the then unknown model - hand numbered in pencil in the lower right corner "117" on lower picture under the Moran mark. I have the original paper envelope - large folder with turquoise text on the front further reading "Marilyn / Lady in the Light."32 by 24 inches - and will ship this piece rolled in a tube as to ship it flat the freight cost will be too stupid now.

Upon further unpacking I found an old letter size envelope with several items inside.

A receipt  from 1973 made out to a William M McNeil - dated 7-22-73 for one original work of art by Earl Moran titled Marilyn Monroe  size 30x40 - medium oil. The De Vaus Gallery.  No clue what that is about

A Release For Adult - on parchment paper letter size. with her signature dateed Nov 18th 1948 witnessed by a Gloria Burcham - no clue again - I did try to find copies of these items online to see if they were massed produced and cound't find these exact pieces.

The COA is also in this package issued by Little Switzerland Corporation. It is not letter size (smaller) - print number matches what is on the print. There is no indication of how many prints were issued and I have seen some sold online thru WorthPoint. I use that service religiously for research as it has the best library online for resellers.

There is also a full color letter size flyer from the same corporation - folded to envelope size

There's also a DVD in there. Marilyn Loss of Innocence - says a 1 hour story and warning about Nude Footage never released - haven't watched that but tried to find another copy on the net with no success.

Lastly there is a newpaper clipping from 2006 - full page put out by the Las Vegas Review Journal. "Buyer Beware" Article about all the great Marilyn cons over the years. It's interesting.

The piece is in mint condition. I actually didn't know I had this piece. I purchased alot of art in the late 80's early 90's and simply stored them away. I believe this one is from somewhere around 1990's. The COA states that the edition closed in dec 1993. Was delighted to find this one when unpacking.

Buyer to do your due diligence - I have tried to disclose all the information I have. I understand that there are fraudsters out there replicating everything on the planet but was a little perplexed that I couldn't find more info on some of the paperwork. If you can find something let me know and I will ammend the listing. I lived in Vegas for 35 years - some of that time I owned an antique mall - I've seen and handled alot over the years - met some amazing and famous people. I truly have no clue what I paid for these things or when I acquired them - wish I did - the story would probably be bigger!

Everything will ship via USPO fully insured with signature required.
