Natural Jade Agate Gold Plate Zodiac Buddha Necklace Estate BeadRage

ok when my lack of expertise baffles me I tend to take more pictures. I hope they are all clear. I am not a jade expert. I've seen a few of these pendants at a much higher price and it states their 24kt gold. I'm calling this one gold plate because I just don't know. The jade is nice - there are no chips cracks or flea bites on it. It measures 2 inches long.  The red string is in pristine condition and has several jade beads (10) on the string. On the bottom front of the stone there is a face carved into the stone. I think it's a Foo Dog?

On the backside I assume that the etching into the  design is zodiac because I've not found any other description on any other piece. I bought it at a sale. The neck extends to 22 inches and is adjustable. The stone is lovely and very cold to the touch. It's a very well crafted piece and feels "right" in my hand. I just don't know about that golden medallion on the front and  I'm pricing it accordingly.
