Hand Painted Persian Calligraphy Hunting Scene Camel Bone Khatam Kari Inlay Frame
The picture is painted on a camel bone slab. The picture frame measures 12 1/4" long and 6 1/2" wide. The bone slab measures 6 3/4" wide and 2" high. This one is signed by the artist in the right hand side of the bone. I purchased this item from a small antiquities shop in Alexandria early 1993 however I have no clue how old it actually is. It is in mint condition - only hung on my wall for a short period of time. Carefully stored.
