Sarah Coventry Basket Weave Pin Glass Holder Reader

Vtg signed Sarah Coventry pin that measures 1.25 inches long. A brushed golden plate in mint condition fresh from an estate. Call me crazy but I think this one is a glasses holder. I tried this theory out on a few pair of glasses and it works really well. I could be wrong. It has a lovely basket weave design.  A regular bar pin that has a secure clasp.

I'm finding it interesting that Sarah Coventry is coming into her own these days - perhaps people are coming around to appreciating the quality of older American pieces.
