Schafer & Vater gorgeous Dutch Key Girl pitcher made in the early 20th Century in Germany. The pitcher is 5" high, 6" wide and 4" deep. 

The happy Dutch girl is holding a large water pot in her hand; she carries a large basket on her back, and a ring of keys on her white apron. The water pot serves as the pitcher spout. Her face is lovingly chubby with pink cheeks. On the other side she has a black purse hanging from her shoulder

Her hem is delicately decorated with 3 leaf clovers that tend to fade on either side and she features a bonnet on her head. 

The glaze is a combination of matte on the basket and high gloss on the girl. The pitcher has the crown and star mark used by the Schafer & Vater Porcelain Factory in Rudolstadt, German stamped on the bottom 

It is in excellent vintage condition without cracks, chips or repairs. Color and detail are excellent as well.
