High polished gold plate with a jet black enamel overlay. 4 dangling charms - spool of thread - ribbon (maybe tape? - scissors and a thimble. This one measures 2 1/2" tall and 1 3/4" wide. Mint condition - never worn.
I love this one - my mom was a seamstress & quilter and she was always sewing. Early 50's we lived out in the country in NH. My mother used to get these trunks delivered from a company in Boston. They were filled with cloth and patterns. It was a baby clothes company and she would sew all the little dress together and when she was done the company would come and get the trunk and send another. She was a working stay at home mom. Sound familiar now?
