Turkish Sultan Meerschaum Pipe Carved Used Fitted Case Bakelite ?

I am just guessing on the country and picking turkey because from what I see listed most come from there. I am by no means an expert on pipes. I guess I am your typical hoarder picker person who has collected a wide array of "stuff" over the years. As things are winding down it's time to pass them along to other collectors before that tv show - shows up here. LOL. Anyway - I have a few pipes - I like this one the best I think. Not 100% sure but I think the handle thing is bakelite? If wrong please let me know and I will amend the listing. It has been smoked - see pics. It measures 5.5 inches long - not sure if that's important or not. When listing I noticed that there is a fissure on the left side of his face so I went back in and shot 2 more pictures. I do not know if this is normal or what. I did blow into the bowl and only air passed thru to the end. Actually never saw it before. Anyway - The case is in very good condition and snaps tight. It has that old red velvet like material inside. There are no rips or tears to the inside or outside. as shown. There's a lot of character to his face and I've looked at it and admired him many times. The smoking end screws into the head piece. Not sure what else to tell you.
