So I ran across these little cuties today in the warehouse - in case you don't know how they work I'll try to explain.  Their for long strand necklaces so you can double them up into chokers or just double strand them into shorter necklaces.  I tried to find some on ebay and realized there is none or I couldn't find them anyway. Their pretty nifty - the open wide on a hinge - they snap shut and there is an additional safety catch like most real jewelry has.  The last picture is a long Joan Rivers strand that measures 32". So when you double it up it would make a 16" choker length.  You can use them on all sorts of necklaces. Pearls make a nice look. They were used alot in the 70's and 80's - kind of faded out in the 90's. Happy to find them in my hoard.  They are approximately 1" long - oval shaped with pave set rhinestone thru out. No dead or missing stones - they were carefully stored. Only have a couple.
