I used many different types of buttons - bakelite - celluloid - leather - wood - MOP - plastic - simulated pearl - single buttons from my stash. I put genuine vintage Swarovski crystals in the centers where appropriate. There's one little acrylic cameo and a few other assorted rhinestones all hand stitched onto a 3/4" black stretch cloth. Unstretched it measures 7" - of course it's the only one I have.
