Old Mechanical Bird Cigarette Dispenser Tobacco Holder Bakelite ? Green W German

Well it's in gemmy condition - moves without a hitch - measures 7 inches long and 4 inches wide. About 4 inches tall. Ivory, green, black and brown plastic. Not sure if it's bakelite or not - it's stamped W Germany so it's no older than 1945? Can't remember if they were using bakelite after the war - I do know it was used during the war. Not sure if there is supposed to be a top on the ciragrette box or not. Brown paint on the bird is excellent - not sure you can find one nicer than this. Only one I have.
