Fruit Salad Brooch Pin 1920's Rhinestone Tutti Fruitti Old

It's fairly big measuring 2 7/8 inches across and 1 3/8 wide. It has a rugged regular bar clasp - very secure. Those fabulous jelly round 1/2 cabs are pave set into the pin. There are no missing or dead stones. Intricate design. This pin is pretty cool - I wish I knew the technical name for this finish - yes I know gunmetal but I associate that  verbage with newer pieces. If you know don't be shy about telling me - gotta learn something new every day. 

There is something very interesting about it that I have never seen. A very old clear looking - almost litho pane - window over a lot of the spaces in between the design. You really can't catch it just by the pictures. I only caught it while looking at the stones with a loop. It's very fragile and could be removed entirely with an exacto but I'd rather leave it in the as found condition. I'll leave that to the new owner. You too might find it very interesting.
