Seahorse Tortoise Shell Pin Celluloid Brooch OLD

Perfect retro tiki vibe. Age? Guessing 1940's - The horse is mint - I don't believe this is the original pinback mechanism - it would appear to be replaced at one point - I'm leaving it as is. This piece measures 2-1/4" long. Only one I have.
