Mystery piece that's been kicking around on my desk for quite awhile - when I don't know what something is I tend to leave them alone - time to sell. First I have absolutely no clue what the metal is - it does NOT stick to a strong magnet - 2nd - there are no marks whatsoever to id this piece. The arrow shape is inlaid with genuine turquoise chips pretty typical of native american work.
It's a cool design and measures just a tad under 2" wide and 1 3/8" tall. The bar pin was completely destroyed so I replaced it with a simpl silver "C" which is my personal favorite because they don't break or lose that roll over thingy. If this is silver I can't say - I'm leaning toward a different kind of alloy. It does polish up because I gave it a rub. Only one I have of course.
